Position Title: Medical Office Administrative Assistant

Overview:
A Medical Office Administrative Assistant is required for a full-time role offering competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. This position is ideal for individuals with over a year of experience in medical, healthcare, insurance, or similar administrative roles. The organization promotes a hybrid work model post-training, ensuring flexibility while maintaining essential on-site presence as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Input, update, and monitor patient insurance details within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Establish accounts and collaborate with the billing department on insurance claims and co-payments.
- Conduct insurance verifications and manage prior authorizations.
- Assist patients with inquiries regarding eligibility and benefits.
- Liaise with insurance providers and state benefit programs.
- Generate reports and perform various clerical and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma; higher education is advantageous.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Administrative or Medical Office Support.
- Basic knowledge of Medical Insurance processes, including Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and claims.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with EMR and billing software is a plus.

Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment and occupational health screenings.
- Ability to work in-office Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM during the training period.

Compensation:
Hourly rate of $20.00.
