Job Title:

Graduate Student Professional Development Programs Intern

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with the administration of our graduate student professional development programs. The successful candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the admissions process for certificate programs
  • Manage application review sessions and calibration of application evaluation
  • Confirm acceptance of admission and manage the wait list
  • Facilitate arrangements for certificate sessions and workshops
  • Collaborate with the Graduate Professional Development team to secure speakers and facilitators
  • Track participant progress in each certificate program
  • Assist with program assessments and data reporting
  • Create and coordinate communications about the certificate programs
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with common software, e.g., Dropbox, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Airtable and Evernote
Work Environment:

This is a part-time, temporary position with a hybrid schedule. The start date is in mid-August 2024, and the position will continue until June 2025.
