Key Responsibilities

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of services and operations related to general aviation. This role includes:

  • Providing daily leadership and guidance to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable operations.
  • Leading service delivery efforts and managing service recovery as needed.
  • Engaging with customers on various matters, including tenant relations and transient sales.
  • Conducting shift briefings with subordinate supervisors and team members.
  • Aligning base shift scheduling with customer demand.
  • Acting as a liaison with the airport community.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures regarding customer service standards, safety, and security.
  • Assisting customers with hotel bookings, ground transportation, catering, and other services.
  • Promoting a safety culture through daily observations, routine audits, and safety meetings.
  • Formulating emergency procedures for aircraft incidents.
  • Fostering customer loyalty by enhancing employee engagement.
  • Maintaining vendor relationships.
  • Overseeing ground support equipment and facility maintenance operations.
  • Conducting investigations into accidents to determine root causes.
  • Administering the Computer Based Training program and on-the-job training.
  • Monitoring fuel quality control activities.
  • Performing leadership functions, including conducting performance reviews and managing direct reports.
  • Handling time and attendance administration and onboarding new employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • A valid state driver's license.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • General knowledge of business management and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in personal computers and Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements

This position may require working in variable weather conditions, and candidates should be able to:

  • Stand, walk, sit, and use hands for various tasks.
  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Read, write, and communicate fluently in English.
  • Analyze and interpret business documents and technical instructions.
  • Effectively present information to groups and respond to inquiries.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $81,750 to $102,250 annually, based on various factors such as skills, education, responsibilities, and experience.
