Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative will play a vital role in supporting the operational business needs by effectively communicating with and addressing all customer needs and inquiries. This individual will partner with field employees and management to complete all applicable administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phones, schedule customers, and assist with inquiries.
  • Provide customer services related to sales, sales promotions, installations, and communications.
  • Take incoming and make outbound calls, process credit cards, offer service plans, schedule appointments, and process refunds.
  • Manage data entry, including emails, text messages, and other communicative tools to efficiently route manpower and resources.
  • Make outbound customer phone calls in limited situations, typically for follow-up on permits and inspections, and rescheduling services.
  • Maintain good customer relations, resolve customer claims and complaints fairly and effectively, and adhere to consumer laws.
  • Follow location initiatives and educate customers on these initiatives.
  • Make recommendations and develop improvement plans based on customer surveys.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an office setting with a minimum of 20% daily duties assisting customers over the phone.
  • General computer competency, including a minimum of 1-year experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work overtime with little notice and occasional weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completed college coursework.

Open office environment with a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements

Frequent bending, kneeling, or crouching, with the ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods. Ability to hear and understand speech, and see and focus for close, distance, and peripheral vision. Express or exchange ideas through spoken word, and enter text or data into a computer using a traditional keyboard or 10-key numeric keypad. Use arms and hands to reach overhead, signal, grab, hold, lift, turn, push, and pull objects and tools.
