About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Integration Specialist to join our team at Custom Computer Specialists, Inc. As a key member of our integration team, you will be responsible for deploying and integrating network equipment in educational buildings across the five boroughs and Long Island.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stage network equipment for deployment
  • Patch data cables and manage data cable infrastructure
  • Perform pre-integration port tracing and testing
  • Work with a team to complete all integration tasks, including:
  • Pre-deployment staging of equipment (unboxing and organizing)
  • Deployment, racking, and stacking of data center equipment
  • Labeling and patching of equipment
  • Data cable management and quality control
  • Provide clear and concise progress reporting (written and verbal)
  • Ensure quality of work and adherence to company standards
  • Break down and prepare old equipment for end-of-life services
  • Document work assignments, including client sign-off, punch lists, and resolutions
  • Deploy and set up desktops, laptops, iPads, and Chromebooks
Requirements
  • Understanding of networking and wireless equipment installation
  • Ability to perform patching and cable management
  • 1-2 years of network integration experience or 1-2 years of desktop/laptop deployment experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled in organization, decision making, and time management
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Industry certifications (A+, networking, and security)
