Responsibilities:
Approach all interactions with guests and team members in a courteous, service-oriented manner.


Maintain consistent attendance in line with company standards as dictated by scheduling needs.

Uphold high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the appropriate uniform and name tag while on duty.

Adhere to company standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient operations.

Maintain a welcoming and friendly demeanor at all times.

Review the setup of meetings and events to ensure compliance with the Event Order.


Oversee and assist in the preparation of assigned events, ensuring that the hotel's standards are upheld and that service readiness is adequate for guest satisfaction.

Act as the point of contact between the Sales and Catering Manager and the event organizer.

Address guest issues, complaints, and incidents, communicating any concerns to the Food & Beverage Manager and/or General Manager.

Assist the Food & Beverage Manager with scheduling event staff to ensure adequate coverage for upcoming events.

Maintain labor productivity within budgetary limits by utilizing the Wage Progress report; submit reports to management as required.

Assist in the service of events as necessary.

Support event setup as needed.

Order beverages for all event bars and ensure proper service control.


Supervise and assist with the breakdown after events to ensure proper storage of all equipment and supplies.


Inspect the cleanliness of all event spaces and storage areas to uphold the highest standards of organization and sanitation.

Comply with all state liquor regulations.

Familiarity with event menus and pricing is essential.

Knowledge of hotel services and facilities is necessary.

Enforce all hotel policies and safety regulations.

Be aware of fire exit locations and fire extinguisher placements and know how to operate them.

Supervise all event staff.

Understand and enforce all Standard Operating Procedures for the Events department.

Ensure that employees are consistently attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to guests, management, and fellow staff members.

Recruit and train staff according to the hotel's service standards and supervise them during events.

Respond to guest requests as necessary.

Assist audiovisual teams as required.

Prepare event invoices, obtain guest signatures, and inform clients of payment procedures at the conclusion of all assigned events.

Familiarity with the operation of the Point of Sale system is required.

Address hazards and notify management promptly.

Attend meetings as assigned.

Cross-train in other departments for additional supervisory support.


Submit supply orders (such as candles, notepads, pens, uniforms) to the Food & Beverage Manager for approval and maintain inventory levels.

Handle lost and found items according to established standards.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Food & Beverage Manager.
