Job Summary:

As an Operations Supervisor with Performance Team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers involved in ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in a stockroom, warehouse, or yard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review inbound appointment logs and open order reports daily to plan work activities.
  • Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
  • Determine staffing needs based on workload and schedule staff accordingly.
  • Assign workers to specific duties based on workload and shipping schedules.
  • Review and update operational procedures as necessary and ensure they are communicated to and understood by warehouse associates.
  • Track productivity and qualify performance by individual, function, and department.
  • Work with Inventory Control to ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy possible.
  • Manage payroll of the department.
  • Advise employees on handling of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
  • Trace history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommend remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
  • Issue written and oral instructions.
  • Ensure that proper safety procedures are followed.
  • Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
  • The position is full-time and on-site.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervise 20+ employees in the area of Operations. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Range:

$55,000-$67,000*.

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
