Process Quality Assurance Specialist

The Process Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and manufacturing processes at GE Aerospace. This role requires a strong foundation in quality engineering principles and the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide shop floor support for manufacturing to ensure quality standards are met
- Accountable for quality assurance and quality control of products, manufacturing processes, and outside vendor services
- Own gage and CMM validation and out of tolerance investigations
- Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organization
- Lead team in defining effective Root Cause Corrective Actions
- Lead investigation for Work Station Audit findings, Product Audit findings, and Customer Returns
- Support manufacturing engineering team to monitor and analyze process capability and define process improvement plans
- Lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods
- Strong understanding of QMS AS9100D or similar
- Work together with Rutland team across all levels of the organization
- Work on shop floor with operators to address quality issues
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
- 3 years of Quality Engineering
