Job Summary:

Interstate Companies, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative for Power Generation Services, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting our range of generator services to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively promote product sales and service in the assigned territory.
  • Secure product orders from new and existing customers for new equipment sales and service contracts.
  • Identify and develop new customer contacts to expand market share.
  • Assist customers in solving problems and provide technical support.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, engineering firms, and facility managers to promote Interstate Power Systems products and services.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer and company as needed to ensure that the customer needs are adequately met.

Requirements:

  • High school degree or equivalent required.
  • 3+ years recent/relevant experience with outside sales.
  • Experience in distribution, industrial, and/or heavy equipment a plus.
