Job Summary:

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to medically fragile children and adults in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and coordinate patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
  • Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.

Requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted LVN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One year of experience as a Licensed Nurse in a clinical care setting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
