We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse with Aveanna, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in their homes. You will work closely with our patients and their families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement care plans to address these needs.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Current, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • One year of experience as a LPN/LVN, preferably in a home health or pediatric setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
