We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LVN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to work with our team in providing skilled nursing care to patients in need. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will be responsible for implementing physicians' prescribed plans of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document all activities, assessments, and nursing actions in a timely manner
  • Participate in the development and update of the nursing care plan
  • Provide education to patients and families regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures
