We are expanding our Human Resources division and are looking for a HR Specialist - People Relations to enhance our skilled HR team. The specific level of this role will be determined by the candidate's qualifications and experience.

This position is pivotal in supporting the HR department and the broader business operations. Responsibilities encompass a variety of HR functions, including but not limited to Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, People Relations, Business Processes & Analytics, and Environmental Health & Safety. The Specialist will work closely with HR colleagues to ensure seamless and effective HR processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address employee inquiries concerning HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the execution of HR programs, such as compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Draft employment contracts, offer letters, and termination documentation.
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and events.
  • Generate reports as required.
  • Stay informed about employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Provide support across various HR operations.

People Relations Focus

  • Foster positive employee relations to enhance workplace effectiveness.
  • Support initiatives in talent management, training, succession planning, and employee development.
  • Assist managers with inquiries related to job roles, salary, and benefits while ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Oversee the complete staffing process, including assessing staffing needs, managing job postings, conducting interviews, supervising selection procedures, handling affirmative action plan administration, and facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in an HR support capacity or internship is advantageous.
  • Fundamental understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software.
