This position is pivotal in supporting the HR division and the organization. Responsibilities will encompass a variety of HR functions, including but not limited to Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Business Processes & Analytics, and Environmental Health & Safety. The Specialist will work closely with HR colleagues to ensure smooth and effective HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Address employee inquiries concerning HR policies and procedures
  • Assist in the execution of HR programs, including compensation and benefits, talent acquisition, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records
  • Draft employment contracts, offer letters, and termination documents
  • Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and events
  • Generate reports as required
  • Stay informed about employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
  • Provide support across various HR functions

Employee Relations Focus

  • Foster positive employer-employee relationships to enhance organizational effectiveness
  • Support talent management, training, succession planning, and employee development initiatives
  • Assist managers with inquiries related to job roles, salary, and benefits, ensuring accurate reporting
  • Oversee the complete staffing process, including assessing staffing needs, managing job postings, conducting interviews, overseeing selection processes, handling AAP administration, and facilitating new hire orientation and onboarding

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in an HR support role or internship is advantageous
  • Fundamental understanding of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking capabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HRIS software
