Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Premier Banking Relationship Manager to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our financial services team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our mass affluent clients, providing personalized financial planning and advisory services, and delivering a broad range of retail banking products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with mass affluent clients, understanding their financial needs and goals, and providing tailored financial planning and advisory services.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, leveraging your expertise in banking, investments, risk management, and retail lending solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product and service specialists, to deliver integrated and seamless client experiences.
  • Meet revenue growth, profitability, and retention goals, through acquiring new clients, expanding services, and marketing new products to existing clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends, and apply this knowledge to provide expert advice to clients.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience and training.
  • Minimum of six years of financial services experience, with a proven track record of meeting performance standards and delivering exceptional client service.
  • Advanced knowledge of personal financial planning, advisory, and insurance concepts, as well as retail credit and traditional retail bank products.
  • Active and maintained Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), FINRA Series 7, and 65 licenses, and applicable insurance licenses.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to clients.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in retail banking, with a focus on mass affluent clients.
  • Completion of professional certification programs, such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU).
