Responsible for implementing the Community Banking strategy to provide products and services to commercial and private wealth clients within a designated market with assets up to $500MM. Acts as the primary leader of the banking division, accountable for achieving sales targets and financial performance within the Community Banking group. Collaborates with Retail, Corporate, and FMS to drive business development, enhancing customer acquisition, revenue, and profitability.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implements the Community Banking strategy in the market to deliver products and services to commercial and private wealth clients. Works closely with retail leaders to align business priorities with strategic goals. Fosters a cohesive team environment while promoting the local brand. Oversees profit and loss results, making key decisions regarding products, pricing, strategy, and staffing. Identifies and pursues initiatives that align with company and market strategies.
- Accountable for revenue growth and customer relationship management across all banking sectors. Builds robust pipelines by identifying market opportunities that align with strategic objectives and taking decisive actions to capitalize on them. Sets revenue and profit targets while developing a comprehensive portfolio of solutions to meet competitive challenges and community needs.
- Formulates and proposes annual business plans and budgets. Responsible for optimizing execution and outcomes; continuously evaluates performance against established goals, adjusting operational plans as necessary. Leverages company resources and talent to achieve objectives, fostering an environment of accountability.
- Accurately projects growth, costs, and business challenges. Monitors expenditure execution against the operational plan, making necessary adjustments. Develops and oversees action plans to meet financial goals, utilizing objective analyses to assess risks and returns in lending, credit, and investment activities.
- Communicates effectively with all stakeholders to inspire commitment to the organization. Delivers clear and logical communication that builds support for desired outcomes. Ensures strategies and initiatives are communicated compellingly, promoting diverse perspectives and contributions.
- Maintains customer relationships by creating an environment that delivers desired products, services, and experiences. Utilizes experience and data to exceed customer expectations and implements initiatives to enhance customer-focused growth.
- Promotes ethical standards and compliance, fostering an environment where integrity is paramount. Identifies opportunities to enhance compliance within the organization and ensures market leaders are informed about policies and procedures.
- Advocates for social responsibility by leading community engagement initiatives. Builds and maintains external relationships that enhance the company's reputation and impact in the community.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum Experience: 8+ years of relevant work experience demonstrating professional growth and achievement in a comparable organization.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of banking functions, including M&A activities and market entry strategies.
- Proven ability to manage relationships with the Board, regulators, stakeholders, and clients.
- Experience in implementing regional initiatives and analyzing results against objectives.
