Job Title: Surveyor

Idaho National Laboratory is seeking a highly skilled Surveyor to join our Facility Design and Project Engineering department. As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and precision of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site surveys to gather data on measurements and establish property, building, and site surface features.
  • Prepare and maintain drawings, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys for review by engineering and management.
  • Research and analyze drawings, documents, and survey records to clarify information concerning building location and property boundaries.
  • Operate state-of-the-art electronic survey equipment and translate and upload survey measurements into electronic/computer systems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and scientists to provide technical input on various tasks and projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 2 years of relevant land surveying experience, or an advanced degree in a technical field.
  • Licensed land surveyor in the state of Idaho or the ability to obtain licensure within 2 years of hire.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy 'L' clearance, which requires US Citizenship.

  • Competitive salary range: $63,528 - $130,284 (Level 2) / $75,804 - $155,496 (Level 3).
