Job Overview

Infrastructure Design Group, Inc. is a leading civil engineering and land surveying services firm providing professional services to public and private clients throughout eastern South Dakota, southwest Minnesota, and northwest Iowa.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Engineer to join our team in either our Sioux Falls, Mitchell or Watertown, SD office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and technicians to complete engineering analysis, studies, designs, drawings, layouts, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using computer-aided drafting software.
  • Conduct field investigations, inspections, and surveying as needed.
  • Develop and maintain construction documents and technical knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients through written and oral reports.
Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, with 0-4 years of engineering-related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software is essential, and experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Microstation/InRoads is preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
