Job Overview
Position Summary:

The Frank Group is on the lookout for a meticulous and knowledgeable Geospatial Analyst to enhance our team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a robust understanding of geospatial methodologies, be adept with cutting-edge surveying technology, and exhibit strong analytical capabilities. In this role, you will be tasked with measuring and delineating land boundaries, generating survey documentation, leading a team for construction layout, and ensuring adherence to all pertinent regulations and standards.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Execute land surveys and perform precise measurements to define property lines.
  • Employ surveying tools such as total stations, GPS devices, and drones for data acquisition.
  • Compile comprehensive survey documentation, maps, and schematics utilizing CAD and similar software.
  • Evaluate survey data to confirm precision and compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Work in conjunction with engineers, architects, and construction personnel to supply essential survey information for project development and execution.
  • Investigate historical maps, deeds, and other documentation to validate survey information.
  • Oversee and maintain surveying equipment and instruments.
  • Offer expert counsel and support on surveying issues to clients and colleagues.
  • Guarantee that all surveying operations comply with company protocols, safety regulations, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in land surveying is required.
  • Proficiency in operating surveying instruments and software, including total stations, GPS, CAD, and GIS tools.
  • Solid grasp of land survey legislation, regulations, and standards.
  • Exceptional mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid driver's license and readiness to travel to various job locations.
