About the Role

Cortica is a leading provider of advanced neurological therapies for children with autism and other developmental differences. We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our team of professionals, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and physicians. As a pediatric speech language pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children with communication disorders, as well as collaborating with families and caregivers to develop personalized treatment plans.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in speech and language pathology, excellent clinical skills, and a passion for working with children. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's communication abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care
  • Communicate effectively with families and caregivers to ensure smooth transitions and consistent care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and research
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • California RPE temporary license (or equivalent)
  • Excellent clinical skills and experience working with children
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a competitive salary range of $87,111 to $88,200, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursement for continuing education, and referral bonuses.
