Behavioral Intervention Specialist for Child Development

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Behavioral Interventionists to join our team at Cortica in Irvine, California and surrounding areas. As a Behavioral Interventionist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a variety of settings including homes, communities, schools, and clinics, providing play-based ABA therapy to families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), speech therapists, music therapists, occupational therapists, and more.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 behavior-analytic services through play-based therapy to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.
  • Implement positive behavior strategies developed in collaboration with a BCBA.
  • Use data-driven techniques to support children's individualized treatment plans in home, community, school, or clinic settings.
  • Document progress and outcomes with data collection and session notes.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma/GED and a bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (preferred but not required).
  • A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
  • Availability to work in the early or late afternoons, with occasional Saturday availability.
