Leading Speech and Language Pathologist for Pediatric Developmental Therapies

Cortica is a pioneering healthcare company specializing in neurodevelopmental therapies for children. As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be an integral part of our multi-disciplinary team dedicated to delivering life-changing care.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled SLP to join our team and contribute to the development of effective treatment methods for children with neurodevelopmental differences. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a passion for working with children, and a commitment to fostering inclusive environments.
Responsibilities
- Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team members to create comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide individual therapy sessions, group, and co-treats as therapeutically appropriate, ensuring high-quality standards of care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, documentation, and billing in compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies.
- Develop play-based and goal-based interventions to enhance receptive and expressive language skills, considering sensory processing, regulation, and motor differences.
- Facilitate functional experiences to target and achieve individualized goals, promoting communication across settings.
- Collaborate with individuals and families to understand their values, interests, and goals, devising strategies and supports to engage in communication experiences.
- Contribute to program development, educating patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.
Requirements
- A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Licensure to practice as a Speech and Language Pathologist in California.
- Excellent clinical skills, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
- An appreciation for diverse therapeutic approaches and a passion for working with children.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
Compensation and Benefits
Cortica offers a competitive salary range of $87,111 to $108,888 annually, based on your qualifications, experience, education level, and location.
