The Position

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow to join our growing team. In this role, you will complete 9 months of full-time fellowship under the guidance of an ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist.

Clinical fellowships ensure newly graduated SLPs establish a strong foundation for practice as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary team members to create collaborative treatment plans and integrative strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Treatment Planning: Establish speech and language treatment goals through dynamic and standardized assessment tools.
  • Collaboration: Consult closely with team members to create treatment plans and develop integrative strategies.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual therapy sessions, group, and/or co-treats with other disciplines as therapeutically appropriate.
  • Documentation: Maintain patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  • Interventions: Develop and implement play-based and goal-based interventions to improve receptive and expressive language skills.
  • Program Development: Contribute to program development and implementation.
  • Educational Support: Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement treatment.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • A temporary license in Speech-Language Pathology Required Professional Experience (RPE) in California.
  • Excellent clinical skills.
  • A passion for working with children.
  • Skill in using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office products.

Compensation and Benefits

Cortica offers a competitive salary range of $87,111 to $88,200, depending on experience, education, and location.
