About the Role

A Commercial Banking Relationship Manager develops and advises client relationships, soliciting new business opportunities and managing existing portfolios. This sales- and solutions-focused position requires a deep understanding of commercial banking financial solutions, including complex credit structures and treasury management.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to cross-sell bank products, build strong client relationships, and demonstrate excellent business development and sales skills. They will also have a strong understanding of personal and business financial statements and tax returns, as well as the ability to manage a complex workflow.

This role is fully onsite and may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation. We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and advise client relationships
  • Solicit new business opportunities
  • Manage existing portfolios
  • Provide comprehensive financial solutions to clients
  • Develop internal relationships to provide financial solutions
  • Advise clients on financial solutions and strategies
  • Manage and review client relationships
  • Demonstrate a high level of awareness of banking industry and industry-specific trends
  • Demonstrate a broad knowledge in other banking services offered by other lines of business
  • Develop and maintain a deep knowledge of commercial banking financial solutions
  • Manage a complex workflow
  • Provide excellent client service and support
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or other appropriate area preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to cross-sell all bank products
  • Expert in building client relationships
  • Handles complex relationships and interacts with outside counsel
  • Expert business development and sales skills
  • Ability to manage an existing portfolio
  • Consultative selling skills and approach
  • Proactive
  • Deep knowledge of credit structures
  • Well-developed credit skills and acumen
  • Well-developed underwriting skills
  • In-depth understanding of personal and business financial statements and tax returns
  • Ability to manage a complex workflow

  • Ability to work independently, provide client solutions, prospect new client relationships, and coach and mentor other team members

Our Benefits

We offer a competitive total rewards package, including base wages, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

The pay range for this role is $115,000.00 to $200,000.00, and the pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
