About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at EBSCO Information Services. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling our research solutions to academic institutions, corporate libraries, and medical libraries in the states of Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow existing revenue streams while developing new business opportunities to achieve sales growth and renewal quotas.
  • Provide formal pricing proposals, literature, and coordinate trials with account executives as needed.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations driven by the solution sales process.
  • Travel (70%) to meet with customers and prospects, attend conferences, and sales meetings.
  • Achieve an expert level of knowledge of EBSCO products and competition.
  • Provide input for product development and marketing purposes.
  • Develop sales strategies for the region and report weekly progress towards sales quotas and goals.
  • Average 25 face-to-face visits per month with prospects and existing clients.
About You

We are looking for a sales professional with:

Years of sales experience in the academic field (preferred).Experience with SaaS and information service sales (a plus).Previous travel experience and ability to travel 70%.Must live within the territory (Salt Lake City, UT, or Greater Phoenix, AZ).What We Offer

We offer a competitive target annual compensation range of $109,200 - $156,000, including a typical sales commission. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location.
