About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team at Jasper Engines & Transmissions. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for cultivating business with customers in central and southern Utah, focusing on independent repair facilities, local fleets, city and government entities, marinas, and national accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize a proven system of selling with supportive marketing material to develop and implement plans to take advantage of all sales opportunities for assigned customers in territory.
  • Work with small businesses and regional managers of large worldwide fleets to perform needs assessments and develop sales proposals and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (inside sales, customer service, production, distribution) to plan and manage accounts, introduce new products and updates, and develop long-term value-based relationships.
  • Focus on prospecting to grow the business and identify new sales opportunities.
Requirements
  • Degree or two-plus years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Hunter sales mentality and motivation as a self-starter.
  • Automotive background/knowledge and integrity and honesty.
