About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team at gategroup. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our fleet of company vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in top condition to meet the needs of our customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Locate, correct, and adjust defects on fleet vehicles and equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend their lifespan
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards
  • Install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and windshield wipers
  • Maintain detailed records of time and materials used for completion of diagnosis
  • Ensure all work is in compliance with EPA requirements and company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of preventative maintenance experience
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others in a culturally diverse environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Basic computer skills
  • Drivers license required
