Position Summary

The Asset Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Asset Division by generating and monitoring reports, documenting processes, and coordinating operational strategies related to our trailer fleet.

This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, emphasizing operational and procedural efficiencies through analytical thinking and teamwork.

Reporting directly to the Asset Maintenance Lead, this role will closely collaborate to enhance our trailer acquisition and management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with repair and maintenance vendors and manage logistics for repairs.
  • Diagnose trailer issues through communication channels.
  • Source and negotiate with third-party vendors for trailer maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising service quality.
  • Perform daily data entry and management using various technological tools.
  • Record and update information regarding asset acquisitions, statuses, and locations.
  • Monitor and report compliance with registration and insurance requirements.
  • Track daily operations and provide updates to relevant teams.
  • Gather information, collaborate with teams and leadership, and report findings.
  • Optimize organizational practices through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Handle miscellaneous administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
