Position Overview
The Asset Maintenance Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the Asset Division by generating and monitoring reports, documenting processes, and coordinating operational strategies related to our trailer pool.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in operational and procedural efficiencies through detailed analysis and teamwork.
  • Collaborate closely with the Asset Maintenance Lead to enhance trailer acquisition and management efforts.
  • Engage with various departments including Finance, Information Technology, Safety & Compliance, and brokerage teams.
  • Coordinate with repair and maintenance vendors to ensure effective logistics.
  • Diagnose trailer breakdowns through communication channels.
  • Source and negotiate with third-party vendors for trailer repair and maintenance, ensuring cost efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Manage daily data entry and asset tracking using various technologies.
  • Record and update asset acquisitions, statuses, and locations.
  • Monitor compliance with registration and insurance requirements.
  • Gather information, collaborate with teams and leadership, and provide updates.
  • Optimize organizational practices through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative and clerical tasks as needed.
