Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relations
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Communicate effectively with all parties to resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Employee Management
    • Lead and manage a team of on-site staff, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
    • Recruit, hire, and train new team members to meet business needs.
  • Leasing and Occupancy
    • Develop and implement effective leasing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
    • Manage the leasing process, including showings, applications, and lease renewals.
  • Revenue Management
    • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.
    • Manage rent collections, delinquencies, and other financial aspects of the property.
  • Reporting and Document Management
    • Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to management and stakeholders.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documents, including resident files and property information.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the property, including safety and security concerns.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Facility Maintenance
    • Oversee and manage facility maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
    • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, real estate, or hospitality.
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in multifamily property management, with a focus on affordable housing.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, residents, and stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
    • Proficiency in property management software and systems.
