Position Overview

C&S Engineers is in search of a Senior Project Engineer specializing in airfield design and construction. This full-time role offers competitive compensation, excellent employee benefits, and a supportive work environment. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

In this role, you will lead the design and construction efforts for horizontal airfield projects across the United States. The position is based in our Orlando office, where you will manage large and complex engineering projects, overseeing budgets, resource allocation, client relations, quality assurance, scheduling, and business development.

Your responsibilities will include managing consultant agreements, addressing critical issues, and presenting innovative concepts. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will coordinate project staff and monitor group utilization related to project timelines. Opportunities to lead or support projects in various offices nationwide are also available.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years focused on large/regional airfield design and construction, including knowledge of airfield and FAA regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License.
  • Established relationships with strategic clients are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Ability to effectively lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Capability to set deadlines, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.
  • Commitment to safe work practices in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Promptly report incidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions to supervisors or the Health and Safety Department.
Estimated Compensation Range: $100,000 - $130,000/year*
