Position Overview

C&S Engineers is in search of a Senior Project Engineer specializing in airfield design and construction. This full-time role offers competitive compensation, excellent benefits, and a dynamic work atmosphere. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

In this position, you will lead the design and construction of horizontal airfield projects across various locations. You will be based in our Orlando office, where you will manage large and complex engineering projects, overseeing budgets, resource allocation, client interactions, quality assurance, scheduling, and business development.

Your responsibilities will include managing consultant agreements, addressing critical issues, and presenting innovative ideas. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will coordinate project teams and ensure the effective utilization of resources in line with project timelines. Opportunities to support additional projects in different offices are also available.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in large/regional airfield design and construction, including familiarity with airfield and FAA regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License.
  • Established relationships with strategic clients are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Ability to lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Competence in setting deadlines, allocating resources, and monitoring project progress.
  • Commitment to safe work practices in accordance with applicable standards.
  • Promptly report incidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions to appropriate personnel.
Estimated Compensation Range: $100,000 - $130,000/year*
