Position Overview

C&S Engineers is looking for a Senior Project Engineer specializing in airfield design and construction. This full-time role offers competitive pay, excellent employee benefits, and a remarkable work environment. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

In this position, you will lead the design and construction efforts for horizontal airfield projects across various locations. You will manage large and complex engineering projects, overseeing budgets, resource allocation, client relations, quality assurance, scheduling, and business development.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing consultant and sub-consultant agreements, addressing critical issues, and presenting innovative concepts.
  • Overseeing project staff and ensuring group utilization aligns with project timelines.
  • Leading or supporting projects in various offices nationwide.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 4 years in large/regional airfield design and construction, including knowledge of airfield and FAA regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License.
  • Established relationships with strategic clients are advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D.
  • Ability to effectively lead and collaborate in multidisciplinary team settings.
  • Capability to set deadlines, allocate resources, and monitor project progress.
  • Commitment to safe work practices in accordance with all applicable standards.
  • Proactive communication regarding incidents, hazards, and unsafe conditions.

Estimated Compensation Range: $100,000 - $130,000/year*
