Position Overview:
At Brown Insurance Services, we are seeking a dedicated Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative who is committed to providing outstanding service and support to our clients. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in a team-oriented environment and are eager to contribute to a reputable insurance agency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for commercial lines insurance, addressing client inquiries with professionalism and understanding.
- Manage policy modifications and additions to align with clients' changing coverage requirements.
- Assist clients with the renewal and rewriting of insurance policies.
- Gather quotes and coverage alternatives for new policies and amendments tailored to client needs.
- Review insurance policies with clients to ensure clarity and understanding.
- Process policy cancellations and reinstatements in accordance with company policies and regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to clients during the claims process, coordinating with the claims department as necessary.
- Ensure accurate data entry in our management system.
- Educate clients on various commercial insurance products, coverage options, and risk management techniques.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in commercial insurance to enhance service delivery.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in a customer service role within a commercial lines insurance agency or a related field.
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial insurance products.
- Familiarity with insurance policy terminology, coverage types, and industry regulations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, team members, and insurance carriers.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a compassionate approach to client concerns.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, including agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Epic (Applied Systems) is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Active 4-40, 20-44, or 2-20 License is required.
- Previous experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $75,000 based on experience, plus uncapped commissions.
