Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at St. Mary's University. As a key member of the Office of Admission, you will provide exceptional customer service to visitors, respond to inquiries, and support the front desk operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets visitors, answers phone calls, and directs inquiries with a smile.
  • Manages the front desk operation, including opening and closing the office, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Responds to emails and forwards messages to the appropriate team members.
  • Provides administrative support, including filing, copying, and sorting mail.
  • Assists with scheduling appointments, updating calendars, and coordinating campus tours.
  • Supervises and trains student assistants and tour guides.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in an office environment or higher education.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with occasional campus visits.
  • Regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk and hear; use hands to operate office equipment.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
