Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Semiconductor Foundry Engineer to join our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department. As a key member of our III-V process engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements to enhance wafer capacity, product yield, and next-generation technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process and equipment capabilities to support increased wafer capacity and product yield.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance device yield and process capability.
  • Lead and assist projects for the entire capital equipment life cycle, including source selection, acquisition, facilities infrastructure, installation, qualification, sustainment, and troubleshooting.
  • Develop and maintain schedules for tool and process qualifications.
  • Identify capacity constraints and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years' of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years' of prior work experience.
  • Experience in semiconductor processing techniques and capital equipment, including photolithography, dry etching, wet chemistry, metals evaporation, sputtering, and backside processing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance post-start.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Communication skills to effectively transfer ideas.
  • Broad knowledge related to semiconductor processing, equipment, and data analysis.
  • Experience troubleshooting a diverse set of fabrication equipment and establishing equipment qualification and preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Proficient in statistical process control and lean manufacturing methods.
