Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Semiconductor Foundry Engineer I to join our Advanced Microelectronics Solutions Department (AMSD) at Raytheon in Andover, MA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with various lithography, deposition, and etch processes, as well as performing and documenting optical microscope inspections and scanning electron microscope imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work in a cleanroom environment to handle GaAs and GaN wafers
  • Assist with lithography, deposition, and etch processes
  • Perform and document optical microscope inspections
  • Perform scanning electron microscope imaging
  • Failure analysis and data analysis
What You Will Learn
  • Wafer fabrication techniques, including lithography, deposition, and etch processes
  • Optical and scanning electron microscope imaging techniques
  • Data analysis and trouble-shooting techniques
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major
  • 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
