Principal Semiconductor Reliability Engineer

At Raytheon, we are seeking a highly skilled Principal Semiconductor Reliability Engineer to join our Advanced Microelectronic Solutions Department (AMSD) in Andover, MA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end reliability tasks, including planning, design, testing, analysis, and reporting. They will interact frequently with a team of process engineers, technology owners, and project leads to ensure the development of reliable semiconductor devices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reliability statistics, semiconductor physics, and applied statistics. They will be responsible for reliability test planning and execution, data modeling, and producing key metrics such as MTTF, failure rates, safe operating conditions, and corresponding confidence bounds.
The Principal Semiconductor Reliability Engineer will also be responsible for handling compound semiconductor transistors, passive components, and monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs). They will interact with probe stations and multiple reliability testing systems (DC and RFOL) and lead reliability efforts that support wafer foundry's new technology development, new tool qualification, and reliability-oriented design rule verification and development.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior work experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of prior work experience. They will also have experience in reliability testing and characterization, design and execution of reliability test plans, data analysis, and reliability modeling.
We offer a competitive salary range of $96,000 - $200,000 and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
