Job Summary

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving volume and product quotas in assigned territories. This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed assigned volume and product quotas
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including regional sales managers and senior vice presidents
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on business opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 5 years of sales experience, preferably in an industrial or product background
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel 65% of the time
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Work Environment

This role requires a hybrid work environment, with a mix of home office and field work. Some overnight travel is required, and occasional visits to the company headquarters in Hickory, NC may be necessary.
