We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to enhance our customer engagement.


Role Responsibilities

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring that customer inquiries and needs are addressed promptly and professionally. This position serves as a vital point of contact for our customers, aiming to streamline their ordering and shipping experiences. Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing customer orders received through various channels and entering them into our ERP system.
  • Communicating with clients regarding order status, potential shortages, and pricing adjustments.
  • Updating the ERP system with pricing changes and maintaining accurate pricing records.
  • Managing incoming calls and directing them appropriately.
  • Providing freight quotes based on customer requests and overseeing the shipping process.
  • Issuing invoices post-shipment and processing payments in accordance with customer agreements.
  • Assisting the sales team with inquiries related to samples, order statuses, and inventory levels.
  • Documenting customer complaints for internal review and responding to customers with relevant information.
  • Organizing and filing order documentation in designated locations.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong data entry capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Prior experience in customer service.
  • A proven track record of problem-solving.
  • A collaborative mindset and adaptability to change.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Demonstrated reliability in previous employment.
