Job Overview

As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Trios Health Southridge hospital, you will deliver comprehensive clinical pharmacy services. Your role will involve leveraging advanced computerized systems to guarantee safe and effective medication management.

Collaboration is key; you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals, to ensure optimal patient care. Responsibilities include verifying and writing medication orders in accordance with established protocols, providing expert consultation, and educating patients about their medications.

In addition, you will oversee the activities of pharmacy technicians, ensuring that operations run smoothly and comply with federal and state regulations as well as hospital policies. A vital aspect of this position is the ability to provide exceptional customer service, characterized by a positive attitude and a warm, friendly demeanor towards patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications
  1. Education: A Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctorate in Pharmacy is required.
  2. Population Specifics: Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age groups served.
  3. Experience: A minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in a hospital pharmacy setting is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in keyboarding is also preferred.
  4. Required License: Candidates must hold or be eligible for a current Washington State Pharmacist License.
  5. Other: Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in English and Spanish, are preferred. The ability to communicate effectively with a culturally diverse population is essential.

Compensation and Benefits

Wage Scale: $73.44
