Job Summary: Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a highly skilled Infection Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting performance improvement and quality assessment practices throughout the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support performance improvement and quality assessment practices throughout the hospital.
  • Perform chart reviews and data abstraction for quality core measures and report findings to regulatory bodies.
  • Identify, investigate, and record hospital-acquired infections, and educate staff, physicians, and visitors to prevent further incidents.
  • Collaborate with a committee of staff and experienced infection preventionists to improve quality initiatives and infection control practices.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license and certification in infection control.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
