Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Trios Health Southridge hospital. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacist services, utilizing computerized resources to ensure safe and effective drug utilization, and collaborating with other clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacist services, including verifying orders and writing orders based on established protocols.
  • Collaborate with other clinicians, such as nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals, to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Utilize computerized resources to ensure safe and effective drug utilization.
  • Coordinate and closely review activities of pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations in accordance with federal and state regulations and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Provide consultation and patient education to patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
  • Population Specifics: Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served in Pharmacy.
  • Experience: Minimum of two (2) years recent hospital pharmacy experience preferred, new graduates welcome.
  • Required License: Must have/obtain a current Washington State Pharmacist License or license eligible.
  • Other: Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred. Ability to read, write and speak English fluently. Ability to work with culturally diverse population.
