Electrical Component Design Engineer

This is a 2nd Shift Position
As an Electrical Component Design Engineer at GE Vernova, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical components and systems. Your expertise will impact the quality of our products and contribute to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Broaden your knowledge of electrical engineering to execute policy/strategy and support roles with specialized technical field of knowledge.
- Business Acumen: Develop a basic understanding of key business drivers and use this understanding to accomplish your work. Demonstrate a good understanding of how your work integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
- Decision Making: Make decisions within a defined framework and resolve issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures.
- Leadership and Communication: Develop strong interpersonal skills and lead a junior team. For customer-facing roles, develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE.
- Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of basic experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component.
- Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Program Management: Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
