The Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Advanced Technology and Innovation Team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative optical sensors for water quality monitoring. Your expertise in analog circuit design, low power system design, and digital signal processing will be essential in developing the next generation of optical sensors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop analog and digital embedded electronic circuits to meet performance, cost, and project schedule objectives.
  • Collaborate with Mechanical, Embedded Software, and Research personnel to develop small integrated designs with maximum performance.
  • Conduct laboratory experiments to test novel ideas.
  • Specify and source prototype components, assist with prototype assembly, and debug prototype assemblies.
  • Enter schematics into CAD system and/or support PCB design efforts by others.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors for key components.
  • Document the concepts, design, testing, and analysis for electronic circuits developed.
  • Assist in identifying and initiating technical projects/programs that will lead to product innovation and/or improvements.
Requirements
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred.
  • Minimum 2+ years electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience in analog circuit design, low power system design, and digital signal processing.
  • Ability to utilize basic bench-top equipment such as oscilloscopes and meters during development phases.
  • Knowledge of embedded programming in C desirable.
  • Ability to design using electronic CAD software tools for schematic design required.
