Job Description Summary

This role requires the ability to work in the US on an unlimited basis.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Engineer at GE Vernova, you will be responsible for supporting business growth initiatives, including safety improvements, tool designs, and overall manufacturing improvements.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Design, draft, and implement production tools, fixtures, and equipment to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
  • Collaborate with the EHS team to identify and eliminate safety hazards in the production process.
  • Define and control production processes, including tooling and equipment, to ensure compliance with design specifications and shop floor application.
  • Specify and procure new equipment and tooling needed to meet production, quality, and growth requirements.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and Technology and Operations (TOW) projects, and related equipment.
  • Work with production teams to identify processes or equipment that can be automated or improved to leverage productivity.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience, preferably in tooling and fixture design.
  • Minimum of 1 year of design software experience, including ProE, AutoCad, and SolidWorks.
Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience with tooling and fixture design and implementation.
  • Experience with production line layout, process flows, and design improvement.
  • Experience in project management, planning, and activity follow-up.
  • Experience with MS Office software, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Ability to build relationships within the company and with customers and suppliers.
