Job Overview

Vapor Systems Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and sustaining electrical systems for our retail fueling equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop electrical systems for new products.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement corrective measures to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve electrical systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain electrical component inventory to ensure quick repairs and minimize downtime.
  • Program and test PLCs, HMIs, motion control systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on product development.
  • Proficient in CAD software, including AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Strong understanding of electrical circuit design, including single and three-phase applications, VFDs, and EMF mitigation.
  • Experience with industrial electrical components, including UL, ATEX, and IECEx standards.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
