MRI Assistant Coordinator

We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment.
This is a part-time (30-39 hours) position working 34 hours per week; shifts will vary. We offer competitive hourly pay ($20-$25 per hour, estimated annual salary $41,600-$52,000).
About the JobAs a Technologists Assistant, you will provide assistance to technologists in areas that allow technologists to maintain an on-time schedule and run the scanning area in an orderly fashion.
- Monitor MRI, CT, arthrogram, and x-ray schedules for adjustments as necessary and inform techs of changes.
- Greet and escort patients to changing rooms, briefly explaining procedures.
- Prepare patient jackets, compile films, and put them together in appropriate jackets according to date and number.
- Assist technologists with room setup between patients, including coil placement and table sheet changes.
- Help technologists stay on time by preparing the next patient before the current one finishes.
- Restore and network previous exams for returning patients.
In this role, you will also be responsible for cleaning and organizing work areas, MRI rooms, patient prep rooms, and supply closets.
- Stock and clean work areas and MRI rooms.
- Ensure patient areas are stocked and organized in a neat manner.
- Clean and stock patient prep rooms and restrooms.
- Organize radiologist reading areas after radiologists leave.
- Check with other teams for additional duties as needed.
