MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Imaging Professional specializing in Magnetic Resonance Technology to join their team for a travel assignment in Brunswick, Maine.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing their knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the principles of MRI to safely and efficiently operate MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors who come into contact with the powerful magnetic field of a MRI scanner
  • Positioning patients and coils on a table that slides inside the MRI scanner
  • Injecting contrast media as required
  • Setting appropriate technical parameters, operating MRI scanners and related equipment, and observing image data on computer monitors during scans
  • Familiarizing themselves with the differences between normal and abnormal images

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
