Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and a proven track record of delivering results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Global Procurement Strategies: Develop and implement global procurement strategies to manage optimally the SBO & Medical or Commercial function spending as appropriate.
  • Optimize Events & MedCom Spend: Optimize Events & MedCom spend by identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing effective procurement processes.
  • Support Masterclasses / Workshops: Support Masterclasses / Workshops with internal & external stakeholders to enhance procurement knowledge and skills.
  • Project Management: Manage projects across procurement categories to deliver on-time sourcing and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintain Knowledge of Strategic Suppliers: Maintain knowledge of strategic suppliers and support tools allowing efficient oversight and management of procurement processes.
  • Early Engagement and Communication: Engage early and connect with stakeholders to improve communication and delivery, and overall customer experience.
  • Support Procurement Awareness: Support procurement awareness across communities of stakeholders by providing training on procurement best practices.
Procurement Operations
  • Adapt, Implement & Execute Global Category Strategies: Adapt, implement, and execute global category strategies to optimize procurement processes and deliver cost savings.
  • Support Savings Objectives: Support savings objectives at the regional and country level by identifying opportunities for cost reduction and implementing effective procurement processes.
  • Comply with Client Policies: Comply with the client's policies and procedures to ensure procurement processes are aligned with business objectives.
  • Support Strategic Negotiations: Support strategic negotiations for M&S procurement topics as well as any major supplier issues, represent procurement on key governance as assigned, ensuring active participation.
  • Ensure Source to Pay Processes: Ensure source to pay (end-to-end) processes continually improve and provide needs to other Business Transformation functions and procurement domains.
  • Report Activities & Performance: Report activities and performance as requested to ensure procurement processes are aligned with business objectives.
Customer Centricity
  • Engage and Facilitate Regional Procurement Network: Engage and facilitate the Regional Procurement network, the proper Business partnering in countries & regions, as it pertains to the client's Business Operations, Medical or commercial sourcing needs, Strategic and innovative approach for business solutions while in compliance with external and internal policies.
